Job Title: Senior C# Developer
Location: Providence, RI
Type: Full-Time, Onsite 5 days a week. required / non-negotiable
About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Senior C# Developer to join our team, who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our desktop and web applications. This role will provide technical leadership in all areas of .NET development including Winforms, VB.NET and .NET CORE. On a typical day, you'll be working in an agile environment with our team and clients to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop desktop, and web-based .NET applications in C# and .NET Core.
2. Maintain and enhance legacy applications in Winforms and VB.NET.
3. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
5. Test and deploy applications and systems.
6. Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
7. Prepare and maintain code documentation.
8. Participate in requirements analysis.
9. Collaborate with internal and client teams to meet project objectives.
10. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Requirements

Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Providence, RI
1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
2. Proven experience as a .NET Developer in C#, VB.NET, and Winforms.
3. Working knowledge with .NET Core
4. Knowledge of the Agile and Scrum methodologies.
5. Ability to strategize, plan, and execute on projects with multiple stakeholders.
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
7. Experience with ADODB and Entity Framework.
8. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
11. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
